OMG! Today is already the 2nd of December. The last time I updated my blog - hmm... let's think...- is a long time ago. I cannot even remember. So finally it is time for me to update my Blog! :)
State Fair:
Ronja, her family and me, we went to the Little Rock State Fair. It is like the German 'Schützenfest' but much bigger. We almost spent the whole day there. The State Fair was a lot of fun. Ronja and me, we tried to ride almost everything but sometime there was an end. That was too much. But it really was a good time with her and the rest.
Spencer's Surprise Party:
Ashley and some other people planned a Surprise Party for Spencer's Birthday. So we celebrated his birthday a few days before his real birthday was. We played a few games and everybody had a lot of fun.
Family Picture Day:
This was a crazy day. In the morning we were in church and after this we went to Little Rock to the State Capitol to take 'fancy' Family pictures. Ashley was so excited and really, really crazy on this day because everything has to be perfect. She is a photographer so she and her mom took our pictures. But it was fun for me. I have never had a 'Photoshooting' like this before. It was a really good and fun day with the Family.
Bonfires:
September, October and November are the month when a lot of people have Bonfires in their yard. The most time when it is cold and already dark. You sit in a circle, you talk a lot
, you tell scary stories AND the best of Bonfires are the S'mores. S'mores are crackers with molton chocolate and burned marshmallows...It is really good and almost the best for a Bonfire. *yummy*
Halloween:
This year was my first Halloween ever..in my whole life! And it was awesome but extremely weird. The parents drove their children from house to house. Everybody dressed up. Little kids but teenagers also. First I was sitting in the car with y host mom and I was saying: 'It is soooo weird. It is soooo weird' the whole time. But finally I went out of the car and went from house to house with Mollimae and Kip and asked for candy. Then we went to our church where cars were in a row and you could go from car to car and ask for candy. But do not forget....You have to say: ' Trick or Treat'. If not you do not get candy.
Haunted Houses:
Haunted Houses are very scary and I am glad I went to them with friends. It was a fun time and almost everybody was scared. But not everybody. Some were making jokes, talking to the actors and 'having fun' with the actors. But the evenings were very funny and nice.
Deer Camp:
This I also went to Deer Camp my first time. It was the Opening Weekend of Deer Season. We were not the one ones who were in Deer Camp. There were a lot of other people too who wanted to go to Deer Hunting. So we woke up at 5.00 am to get ready. At 5.45 am we ride the 4-wheeler to our Deer Stand. We were waiting about 4 hours. But we had no luck. No deer the whole weekend. We went in the morning from 6.00am - 10.00am and in the afternoon from 2.00pm - it got dark. :) It was a lot of fun but you had to be quite and you could only move very slowly. We were spending the whole weekend at Deer Camp.
Duck Dynasty Commander:
Duck Dynasty is a very popular comedy show here in America. It is a family and all the men have a beard. They are selling duck things. Okay...and the location where they are filming all the shows and the commander is in Lousiana. So one weekend we went to Lousiana for a wedding and the morning before the wedding we went to the Duck Commander. Really awesome and exciting. *.*
Wedding:
It was Chuck's daughter's wedding. It was a really nice and exciting day. I went the first time to a wedding. I have never been to a wedding before. And it was a good one. And the food was good too. :D
Field Trip:
Last week we had 3 days of because of Thanksgiving. So my AP Art History teacher planned a Field trip to Little Rock. We visited two churches, an Art Museum and the State Capitol. It was a nice and exciting day. He could explain a lot of things.
Thanksgiving:
The American Thanksgiving was a really exciting and good experience. It really is like everybody tells you and some movies show you. Wednesday evening we Ashley's mom, grand mom and siblings came over and we had a nice Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a lot of good stuff. I cannot even remember. Then on Thursday in the morning and noon we met Chuck's Family. There we had Turkey, dressing. corn casserole and a lot of other good stuff. After that we went to Ashley's other grandparents to eat dessert. But I could not eat anything anymore. Everything was so good. And I will never forget these days.
Black Friday:
Black Friday is a big day and a big deal for almost everybody in America. Almost every store has really really good deals. Some actions are on special time so everybody is waiting for it to get some of the good deals. So Ashley, Chuck, Becky (Ashley's mom) and me went to Walmart at 4.00pm. The sale started at 6.00pm but we had to be there early to get a good spot so we can get what we wanted to have. Ashley planned everything before the day even started. Finally we checked out at 8.00pm. We spend over 4 hours at Walmart but that was not all. That was only the beginning of our shopping tour. During the night we went to a lot of different stores. We were done at 7.00am. We only slept 2 hours during the night. But we had fun. I bought 2 pairs of shoes, a fleece jacket, a scarf and some other stuff. It really was an experience. A good one and I think I will never forget this day. Everybody was so crazy, sometimes I thought they will kill each other. They got so crazy. It is unbelievable and indescribable. You definitely have to make this experience by yourself. It was an awesome night.
School:
School is going really good. Last Tuesday they imitated the Hunger Games. Every advisory class had to collect cans to help the community. The Best classes with the most can went to the Hunger Games. My class was one of the Best class but finally we lost in the Hunger Games. The prize was a Pizza Party. The different tributes of the different districts/classes had to 'fight' each other. It was really funny.
The Football Season is over now but Basketball has started now. Tomorrow will be my first Basketball Game of the Sheridan High School.! :)
Meeting friends:
Some days I met friends. I went to their house and we watched movies, we were sitting at a Bonfire, hey came over to my house, we went shopping or we went to haunted houses and had Dinner together. I really like it to spend time with friends and having fun together.
Okay...finally that is all...I think it is a lot...but in almost 2 month there happens a lot...And I know...My English is so bad but I hope you can understand it. I do my best to improve my English.
